Tsinghua High School students participated in the 2017 Fudan University International Student Model League and achieved good results

From July 18 to 23, 2017 Fudan University International High School Student Model United Nations Conference (referred to as Fudan Model United Nations) was held in Qingpu Branch of Fudan University High School in Shanghai。Three senior 16 members of the Model United Nations community of Tsinghua High School formed a delegation to participate in Fudan Model United under the leadership of teacher Li Junnan and achieved good results。Among them, Liang Yan won the highest award in the media field - "Outstanding Reporter", Ji Zhengran won the "honorary nomination" award。

During the Fudan Model United Conference，Tsinghua Affiliated High School student Ji Zhengran incarnated Tang Dynasty famous minister Zhang Kanzhi，Served as the order to assist Emperor Zhongzong in dealing with domestic and foreign affairs;Liang Yan served as Chief editor of the Press Office of the ASEAN Secretariat during the 12th East Asia Summit and its series of meetings，Analyze the reality of the summit objectively and calmly，Record the proceedings of the meeting;Jang Yong 枻 represented North Korea，Participated in the Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee of the United Nations General Assembly (Third Committee)，He expressed his unique views on racial discrimination and religious issues。

From the insurrection of the vagrants in Yangzhou to the invasion of the Turks in the north;From the manipulation of the conference hall by Western powers to forcibly ignore human rights, to the establishment of a consensus on the rights protection of all parties;From the militarization of the Korean Peninsula to the new Manila idea, the three students have grown from crisis to crisis。Under the meeting hall, they earnestly consulted, drafted documents, and tried to reach a consensus with other delegates.At the meeting, they were calm and active, and made contributions to the promotion of the conference process。The performance of the three students fully demonstrated the excellent academic level and international vision of the students of Tsinghua Affiliated High School。

Adhering to the concept of "independent spirit, free thinking", Fudan Model United has been committed to building an independent, free and inclusive academic exchange platform, cultivating participants' critical ability and global vision, inspiring civic consciousness and social responsibility, and cultivating leaders full of revolutionary spirit in the new era。In 2017, Fudan MUN invited 130 top high schools and 670 representatives from more than 20 provinces and cities across the country to participate。During the conference, students were determined to make their own voices heard, listen to the voices of others, and continuously improve their research and critical thinking ability, communication and expression skills and academic inquiry level in pragmatic discussions。These academic discussion activities not only broaden students' international vision, but also cultivate their mind and feelings for the world。
